Hello!
I aim to use my writing to speak out about things that matter, bring joy to others, and build a community.

Since childhood, I have had a passion for writing. Through my writing, I could creatively explore the world by creating fictional short stories. As I got older, I also became passionate about raising awareness for social justice issues, and I found writing to be an effective way to do so.
I have also loved reading since I was young. Some of my favorite books to this day include The Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Infernal Devices trilogy, and The Song of Achilles. Alongside these hobbies, I love drinking earl gray tea and re-watching Gilmore Girls.
I am currently a senior at Millersville University pursuing a degree in English with a minor in Strategic Public Relations. Through my studies at Millersville, I have gained a deeper understanding of writing in all forms, including creative writing, public relations communications, and social media writing, which has allowed me to become a flexible writer.
My professional experiences have also strengthened my writing skills. In 2022, I interned at the Dauphin County Library System as an Online Content Intern. In this position, I gained a deeper understanding of social media writing through creating social media posts to highlight reading challenges, campaigns, and programs. Since this internship, I have continued part-time as a Social Media Assistant.
Because of my interests, education at Millersville, and professional experience, I plan to enter a career in communications following my graduation in May 2023. During my career, I hope to use my passion for reading and writing to make a difference through educating the public, raising awareness, and bringing people together.
